Option 822 was only available upto Feb 1988.
Thereafter all Euro ECE 560's had 300bhp. So it's not accurate to say that
if you don't have option 822 you don't have 300bhp.
Any 560 engine that has 10:1 compression is 300bhp unless it has cats, which
reduces that power to 279bhp.
All 560's here in the UK are 10:1 and 300bhp, only reducing to 279bhp in the
late 90's models which had cats.
And as far as I am aware, all euro 500 M117's are 9:1 compression.
