Hi Folks
I am still having problems with varying idle speed which can peak at
1000 rpm.
I have applied varing voltage (1-12) on the bench and the valve seems to
operate fine, on the car at idle the volts while connected are 4.7 cold
decreaseing to 4.1 warm .I am sure you guys said that 3 volts was the norm
which in theory(4.1) should make the engine idle slower than normal.
I had a mad idea, if both exhaust pipe and intake were sealed and 2-3
psi of air was introduced into the manifold would that detect any air leaks
in the system,or could the oil rise out of the dipstick(scary) if it was not
sealed.
Any ideas /sugestions gratefully received as not much hair left on my
head...........from lots of scratching!

Kind Regards Dan Gardner 1986 560SEC 220kw euro
