[W126 Coupe] Drivers seat springs on 1989 560 SEC

Can old dried out leather be stretched over fresh springs? While my car
waits "The Plan" I've frequently contemplated just fixing the driver
seat, but not buying new leather, but I worry that the cracked leather
will rip when I try to fit it over new springs. Anybody have any
thoughts on this?

I have them brand new, genuine Mercedes for $276.00 each.

Hi All,

My drivers seat springs on my 89 560 SEC are shot. My seat bottom leans
towards the door. Does anyone here know where to get one and what it
takes to do this job?

Thanks
