[W126 Coupe] plug wires

You can check your wires w/ an OHM meter..  Anything over about 1.1-2 k.ohm's
and I would replace them.  If you find open ends (resistor burned out) then
they definetly need replacing.
As for plugs, Bosch no longer makes the correct plugs for our cars..they are
all resistor @ this point, ie W9DC's are now WR9DC's.  I suggest you find a
set of proper NGK's or Beru's (the beru's are a tough dig).

I usually change my plugs every 10K, cap/rotor are looking tired by 30K,
wires will hang in there for 50K plus if the rest of the system is tended
too and in proper order.  I've seen bad/improper contact b/w the spark plug
and wire kill a set in a matter of a few thousand miles.

Beru is The wire to use now, the Bosch bits are made in spain and I've had
new wires show up out of spec...ugh..
