A BMW guy eh, that was my passion for many years and to the point of becomming a BMW motorcycle dealer. Sold the dealership the year my SEC was new, 1988.
If you love your BMW's, you'll really love your SEC I promise.
Regards,
Carl

  Jay,

I am learning more and more about this beast that I was going to just purchase to make a buck off of. Something told me to just store it last year because I did not feel I was ready to just get rid of something that I was passionate about when I was 23! I could not afford one then and found silly of me to dismiss the car as an early adult whim that had come and gone. Upon reading all the information that I get here, I have decided to pull it out of storage this spring and move my Vettes to the back burner for a while and see what is too this bad boy. I drive an Acura CL-S as my daily driver and in the summer, I use my BMW K1200 LT-C religiously until the first snow hits. I use the Vettes for the car shows, but now, I am going to muscle my Mercedes GTO into the mix. It is so unique and I love unique and cool.

In a few words, the 560 SEC is a 64 GTO with ABS,
etc, and much better put together car.
It is a Ferrari with none of the the noise and a
much more pleasant ride and interior comfort
It is a 1960 Caddy coupe de ville (2-door hardtop)
but with individual reclining leather seats, better
    brakes and a sunroof
