Hi Vance:

Got the correct understanding of the E and the S.  That's appreciated 
and helpful to know the correct function pf the selector.  I'll go with 
a vacuum leak test by tapping into the vacuum line that feeds directly 
to the modulator to see if it holds for 5 minutes or more.  Maybe it 
just needs replacing from a tear in the diaphragm.  This would be 
preferential to mucking with the B2.
