Vance,

With little or no effort, you can have the gauge faces made to look any way
you wish.  There are several options to do this task and I have listed a
couple that may assist you in your decision, I begin with the most costly;

	1.  Remove the gauge cluster and send the speedometer to VDO in
Germany with 	      a cad generated copy of your wishes.  Since it is
there you may as well have it 	      calibrated again.  (Assuming you know
the actual ratios and variants on you 	      vehicle.) 

	2.  Go to this web site http://www.importintelligence.com/custom.htm
and call 	      them to specify your desires and they will tell you
what they are willing or can 	      do for you.

	3.  Look on eBay for gauge faces and you "should" find 2 or 3 people
generating 	      gauge faces from their computers and laser printers.
A quick discussion with 	      them can solve your problem.

	4.  Research the software market to find the proper software to
generate your 	      own faces.  Which includes you must spend the time to
learn about the` 	  	      various Laser inks, paper. adhesives
and ways to secure your end result to the 	      gauge.

	5.  The simplest way is to get a felt pen and be creative!  I do not
actually suggest 	      this; I hope you have a sense of humor.
