Hi Dan Landiss:

Just wanted to say thanks for the fantastic write up on the lambda
adjustments etc. That web page has come in handy several times now over
the past few years. I will suggest to anyone looking to get an actual
duty cycle reading and have the ability to read the o2 sensor response
while driving, that Sears has a great meter for only $25-30. This will
save you the guesstimating with an analog meter providing a voltage
sweep only. The Sears unit gives you the actual live percentage and the
O2 once you hit the right scale for VDC is a plus as well.

Also just learned of an MB fix to the O2 sensor from the mercedeslist
folks (george) that involves applying a ground strap between the o2
sensor and the transmission where MB determined that the exhaust as it
aged could and did loose the ground path. Sure was a nice feeling using
the $35.79 Ford Mustang 302 Bosch 3-wire o2 sensor vs. the Mercedes $160
something o2.

Hey, everyone have a nice evening. I am up where I heard form my oldest
son, Sean who volunteered yet again to take the place of a Dad in Iraq.
This was a very tough past several days and I was glad to hear from him
givin his duties while there and events that occurred of late. Can't
say more than that.

Take care,

Dick
