[W126 Coupe] swapping idle speed controllers?

Having a redundant module for the pre-'83 models sitting around, I went out and bought an '82 380SEC.
By the way, for some reason these 01 32 modules are cheaper than the 33 32, particularly as remanufactured. From memory I believe they are around $175 with no core charge.

Scott; My only experience was the other way around... I had a 1983 380SEC which nobody could get to idle properly. Turns out someone had installed an earlier (002 545 01 32) control module. I switched to the proper spec 33 32 and it ran perfectly. I don't know if that actually answers your question. -Bellamy
