Hi Bob:
A good 'used' steering gear box is a function of mileage. In other
words a used box out of a 200k 126 chassis vs a 75k miles and not in a
wreck where it was in any way impacted. The only one worth buying is
the 75k. I'd check the on-line EPC to see if there is a difference in
126 models for the steering box too. Maybe you'll luck out and find
there are a number of models that would work. Then it's just finding
the low mileage donor. Otherwise, I'd go for a quality (warranted) reman.
