[W126 Coupe] Popcorn in Dash - Climate Control

I'm not sure but someone on the list could confirm this.  There is an air
temperature sensor located in the light assembly by the sunroof button.  I
wonder if this would be causing the problem? I don't know. I don't
understand how the sensor wouldn't work if it sensed it being too hot, but
would work when it sensed it being cooler.

I don't think the blower is your problem. I believe the push button unit is
your problem. If you are going to swap anything, do the push button unit. I
know it's more of pain, but why do it twice. I'm not sure I remember how to
get the pushbutton unit out, but I'll try that too.
