Just a F.Y.I. on tire mileage.

       Over the years I have had several wheel sizes on my 83 380. Stock
14", 16" during the mid 90's

18" for a few years, and two years ago have gone back to 17", which I
like the most. The car has

Had AMG springs since 83 and the 14"s and 16"s wheels worked great for
tire mileage. As soon as

I went into the lower profile tires I never got the same distance out of
them. What I have found out

, With my driving, is that I was running to low of pressure. I am now
getting the best ware with

Toyo Proxes T1-S 245/45ZR17 97W at 41 lbs. The company I use rotates
them every 5K free of

Charge. The current set should get around 30K..

 B.C. "83" 380 SEC AMG   495.2K

{Timing chain # 6 in 4.8 K}
