[W126 Coupe] Rear diff?

Fun...mine is an 85, with ABS, so even if a 450 diff will just bolt in,
this won't be an easy find since it didn't start being an option until
1978 IIRC.

I don't know if a 450 diff will just bolt in - haven't done that yet.

The question of ABS need or not depends on the car it is going into has
ABS and I don't remember what year is Richard's car. Short answer - if
your car has ABS, the differential has to have the ABS sensor or your
ABS won't work.

Is there any other information I need to know when looking for one (I
see some of the W126 diffs specify ABS, will I have to find a 450 dff
that also specifies ABS, or will any ol' diff pop in)?

F.Y.I. If you are pre "86" just grab a 3.07 out of a 450 SEL pre "80"
and
Bolt it right end. Easy deal
