Big Brake kits? (was RE: [W126 Coupe] FYI more horsepower)

Richard, Have you contacted Daryl about brakes? If I remember correctly, Barry Corno recently posted an email saying he had gotten brakes from him/his company and was very, very happy with the setup. Might be worth investigating, although in my opinion, you might be wasting your money. How much hp do you really think you'll get? I doubt it will be more than Satish has in his V12 with over 400hp, and he hasn't had to change to big brakes. Jonathan - Hope to be? As far as I'm concerned that's a will be, I'll be calling you in a few weeks to finalize some details (like exhaust pipe set up and dates) so that I can get my airline tickets a little early so I'm not TOTALLY blowing my money. All - Speaking of more power, more power needs more brakes. I'm going to be putting on BBS 17" RGR's (I'm iffy on the look, but I can't find any good looking 17's and these at least are very light), and I have a feeling these little brakes will look a little funny, plus after 200 miles on the Blue Ridge Parkway today, I found that even with my metal master pads, these brakes are no stranger to fade (to be fair Blue Ridge Parkway is hard on brakes, after 200 miles there my wheels look like they normally would if I hadn't washed them for 3 weeks). Are there any big brake kits out there? If not, is anybody interested (IIRC Stoptech needs 15 orders to make a custom kit and it costs ~$3000/per)? Or at least are there any pads that are

more fade resistant than metal masters (which are themselves about 2.5x more fade resistant than the stock pads)? Thanks,Richard
