Dear Group:

I saw the two articles in the archives (January 5, 2003 and February 2, 2003) concerning unclogging and replacing the a/c drain hose.

My drain was clogged, and after my mechanic unclogged it, the water did begin draining from the car, but I am still getting condensation on the floor on the driver's side.

Upon feeling under the plastic wall that comes down from the dash and extends back to form the left side of the console, I felt the hose and found it has a hole.

To replace the hose, do you do it from under the car, or do you have to remove the plastic wall I am describing? If you have to remove the plastic wall, how is it done?

Also I just recently took the car through the car wash. I had water come in on the passenger side of the sun roof. I never had this before. Where do I find the sun roof drains to check if they are clogged?

Also, if anyone is interested in knowing about the saga of getting the A/C repaired on my car, (I started asking questions back in June 2006) please e-mail me at kashella at comcast.net and I will fill you in. It involves 3 trys by the dealer which included a $100 monovalve with 2 hrs labor to put it in and finally being fixed by an independent a/c shop.
