If you are in So Cal my mechanic rebuilt the tanny himself and does a very
good job. He is very picky.

I wish. I'm in the opposite corner, Massachusetts.
However, like Southern Cal., labor rates are high here. Having a shop
rebuild my tranny could be more $$ than a factory rebuilt.
It is worth finding out in any case.
