[W126 Coupe] Cigar lighter adapter for cell phone radar detector

That's very very strange. I have never heard of such an adapter, and I routinely use a cell phone charger and have no problems. The plugs may fit in the other cars, but I'm guessing they are cheap plugs and are probably just no good.

Hi, I appreciate your reply. But, the issue is not where to plug in the
items, but that the plugs on the ends of my various appliances will not
fit into the cigar lighters therefore I need an adapter. These "plugs"
fit all of my other cars including American cars, Toyota and Volvo but
are too small for the 90 SEC cigar lighter. If I do plug them in the
loose fit blows the fuse. It's not the lighter receptacle itself, (the
one in the back has never been used) it's the plugs so I must need an
adapter. The MB dealer  says there is one but they had no source for the
adapter. Thanks
