[W126 Coupe] Danger at 100MPH?

I would do a flull flush and then use Castrol SRF fluid. It is the best stuff on earth, even better than Motul 600 or any other race fluid, expensive and worth it. I'd also go with good race pads and rotors. If you can direct air at the brakes via a hose or duct, even better.

You can skimp and save on tires, suspension, etc and it will decrease your speed around the track.

But if you skimp and save on brakes, it will decrease your life expectancy!

As Barry says, this is two tons of metal at very high speeds. A few "anchor-out" stops and your brakes are toast. I used to run a highly modified Audi S4 at tracks all over the east coast. 380HP and 3900 lbs. not a great combination for brakes, esepcially at tracks with long straight and tight corners like Summit Point, VIR, and Watkins Glen. More than once it was "underwear changing" time.

So I upgraded to stainless steel lines all around, Castrol SRF fluid, Porsche 993TT "Big Red" calipers up front on 13"+ drilled/slotted rotors, and Pagid Orange pads. Problem solved. :)
