[W126 Coupe] Danger at 100MPH?

After my first time out autocrossing this weekend, I'm hooked and looking
for more Sunday fun!
The local Benz dealer has an annual race track day. I'd love to try it, but
I'm concerned about what's going to happen if I get my '89 560sec over
100MPH.
I've read that the self-leveling rear suspension will drop down at speeds
over 100MPH. However, my car's lowered ~1.5" on shorter springs. There's
not much clearance left above the tires even when standing still.
Will my rear tires hit the further-lowered wheel wells when the SLS kicks
down at high speed? How far does it drop?
This isn't something I want to find out the hard way!
BTW, my SEC is bone stock except for some cosmetics, the lowering springs,
18" AMG wheels + Pirelli p-zero tires. I placed 3rd at the autocross event,
after an experienced competitor in an older, fully-race-prepared coupe and a
kid in a highly modified Integra.
Thanks for your help, listers.
