[W126 Coupe] clear coat

I know as close to zero as you can imagine regarding paintwork. My question is there anything "off the shelf" available to replace the clear coat on a damaged area of the surface of the paint for a DIY job (but still look professional). To try to explain a little better, There is what appears to be stone chip damage on my right wing. However, the stone chip damage hasn't gone right through to the metal. The original paint is still there. The damage is just the clear coat itself is chipped. I am sure someone out there has done this before with great results. Here's hoping for an answer.
