Mike, I have a blade that fits in a Stanley box cutter that I use to remove golf club grips. It has the shape of a question mark and is sharp only at the inner groove so as to pull backwards to cut. It should be perfect for your task. I think I bought a pack of 5 where regular blades are sold. I might could find an extra and mail to you. Golfsmith or Ralph Maltby Golf should have them as well. First try Sears, Home Depot or local hardware. Jim Alex
