[W126 Coupe] Abrupt shifting from 4th to 3rd

 Dawid, Do you have any service history on the car?  What I am getting to is the last time the transmission was "serviced" - oil and filter change.  If you have no idea, I would start with that as a first course of action and see if it makes any difference before proceeding.
