[W126 Coupe] Starting, electrical problem

Hi Waldemar,

 Thanks for the compliment. I am pleased you found the problem. Of course the easiest way would be just to continue to start in Neutral. But I guess you are a bit like me and want things to work properly. I must admit, I haven't had any experience of replacing this switch, but I am sure one of the other long term members should be able to answer your question on the easiest way to replace it. There is still a small possibility that the switch itself is OK and it could be the connection to the park position is bad, or at least making intermittent contact.

At least while you wait for the answer to replace the switch, you are at least mobile without worrying if you will be able to start again or not.
