I love that ignition setup!
I think that a tune up should also include air, oil, fuel filters, Power
steering fluid and filter, cooling system flush and coolant replacement, rad
cap replacement, checking of vacume hoses - all of those pesky little hoses
and poly connectore can loosen up and crack, change the injector seals,
remove the injectors and soak them in carb cleaner, then pull the center
plunger on the injector open with a finger nail and blow some Gumout through
it. ( I still get best results from good old gumout spray)
Tighten up the exhaust manifold to head bolts, clean and or replace the O2
sensor.
Taking high pressure air hose and blow out all of the drain water drain
holes.
Use a silicone spray or silicone oil and treat all rubber door seals.Check
all suspension part for wear and play.
Grease when necessary or possible.
Drain the tranny oil and refill.
Chenk the motor mounts by opening the hood, put car in DR. - foot on the
brake hard, press the accellerator and see if there is excessive engine
movement.
Does anyone out there have more ideas?

What could you possibly do to tune a 560 up? you can't adjust the timing,
there are no points, unless you have valve guide seals leaking the plugs
should last forever.
Both 560 and 500 are Capacitive Discharge Ignition and toss a signal of over
300 volts into the coil to initiate the spark. How HE do you want?
I have an MSD 6A and MSD coil, but the factory coil could have taken the
power, the voltage isn't much higher but the duration is much longer so the
totat current is a lot higher, and I use stock cap and rotor, so 3 of the 4
stock resistances are in place, I use "spiral core" wires to replace the
plug boot resistance and nonresistor plugs. Haven't had any problem with
overheating the distrubutor coil wire contact like I expected. Been about 3
years like that.
PS don't ever get shocked by an MSD system.
