Bellamy- On a 90 560SEC imported for California market, would you use
W9DC or W7DC? Just curious.
Thanks,

Tom;
Myself, I'd try W9DC's.
I went through this "hotter plug" issue two years ago. The engine is a
380
Euro with 250,000Km. Then I went back to the recommended original
(W7DC).
The theory is fine in a controlled environment, but unless you can
control
everything including the quality of the gasoline you pump, the results
can
be inconclusive.
In Europe they have designed the N. American engines and systems for our
inconsistant quality, low octane fuel.
For those who are really enthusiastic, it may be fun to experiment with
plugs; you'll do no damage as long as the physical dimensions are right,
and
if you actually believe you are gaining, that's terrific.
For most people it doesn't apply.
