[W126 Coupe] Opinion on ignition parts & dust cover

This is why it's good to have you back Nathan. You know, the pre-86 ones
don't have that dust cover that cuts out the RF signals though...so how
exactly does this hinder the pre-86 ones in regards to the post-85 ones?

I am one of the hard core folks about doing it my way, and pooh-poohing
the naysayers who say you must do it the factory way. However, I found
out that deciding to use an alternate source cap rotor wires and plugs
makes more sense if you know what you are talking about in the first
place. In the case of the SEC it is easy to make a wrong assumption, and
it can be an important one.
