[W126 Coupe] Clock repair for the Instrument Cluster

Hi Markus:

Their website advertises the work for $45.  I don't know what they would charge if they received a component that had been worked on (DIY effort) and they did not have the factory board untouched to accept as a core or to work on for repair.  Could this have been the difference?  Or did you just call in without checking the web price?
