[W126 Coupe] Rough idle

Marcus;

I only have one experiemce with "aftermarket" ignition components. A few
years ago I used Neihoff because they were significantly cheaper. The
distributer cap self-destructed in the first 1000 Km, and I threw the whole
lot in the garbage.

Since then I have stuck to Bosch cap & rotor and Bosch or Beru ignition
wires. I prefer the Beru for the quality of construction... they appear to
be better fitted and sealled. Having said that, I can't say I have ever had
a problem with Bosch.
