[W126 Coupe] 380 Cam Shafts

My experience too 2 replacement left cams and 0 replacement right cams over the past 20 years.

In my experience, the left cam (driver's side) is the one that is more frequently is damaged when a chain jumps, and the right one is more readily available on the used market.  A pair of good cams might be a bit more difficult to find
If you are replacing both, NEW cams 116 051 62 01 (L) and 63 01 (R) are abt $235 each, so judge your used prices from that.
