[W126 Coupe] 380 Cam Shafts
A figment of the Imagination

Another quick question:
What's the easiest way to crank the engine to get TDC
without having to use the center bolt on the power
steering pulley.
After some point, I am not able to turn my engine over
any more using a wrench. The engine is at 270 degrees
but I need to get to 0 degrees. My #1 cam is at TDC
but the engine isn't. ;(
My valve covers are off so I don't want oil going
everywhere by cranking the ignition electronically,
but I am almost willing to do this if it is the only
way.
My journals on my passenger-side camshaft are
completely loosened but the timing chain and sprocket
is still on. I just simply need to align everything
at 0 degrees TDC without getting into a huge repair
job.
After everything is aligned I'll put in the new
camshaft (once one is located).
I'd appreciate the help.
