Good evening Clay,
I had the Lorinser 16's on my '83 also. Had to play the spacer
game.........not fun. Ended up going to the AMG 16's. As you put spacers
in-between the wheel and the rotor, you lose the concentric fit of the
factory wheel. It's tapered like an ice cream cone. If you can find
spacers with that cut to them you could be in high cotton. I could never
get mine to set correctly. Best of luck to you. 
I'm still trying to sell my Lorinser wheels.
