[W126 Coupe] Avon Tires...?

Does anyone have any experience with either of the two tires available 
at Tire Rack for relatively low prices?

Avon Tech M500 (W rated)
BF Goodrich g-Force Sport (Z rated)

Tire Rack has the Reviews feature, but as usual, the reviews are a mix 
of absolute praise and disgust.  Not real helpful

I'm thinking about 265 x 35 x 18 on my 9" rears and 225 x 40 x 18 on my 
8" fronts on my lowered 1986 560 SEC.
