[W126 Coupe] Fw: 380 Engine "Swap" ?

Well, I did mention in an earlier post that they've been getting bad
reports, but for the $3500 savings over metric motors it might be worth
the risk. I'd break it in nicely, then start driving like a banshee so
that if anything is going to go wrong it happens under the 1 year
warranty (wow, that's pathetically short).
Got enough cars there Jonathan? That 1880 280SE must be worth a pretty
penny. I didn't even realize there were distinctions between US and euro
models back before Daimler made his first car. Oh, and Buddy wasn't
there but I told Doug to tell him you said hey.
Richard

Personally you couldn't pay me to install a motor from Adsit.. I've
heard numerous tales or woe regarding a lot of their rebuilds and try to
avoid them at this point. I'm not sure what I spent refreshing my 560
but it was more time then anything.

Need Parts? I won't sell anything I wouldn't install on my own car.
Live in Atlanta? I can service/treat your car as if it were my own.
