Richard,

If you want to run boost, I'd get a US 560 motor since
they are available and cheap.  The US 560 has lower
compression and is more suited to supercharging than a
Euro 500.  I think going with the transplant like
Satish has done would be the best if your budget was
not an issue.

I'm planning on an EFI conversion to my car but the
project got farther and farther behind with each
hurricane that hit us.  I've had close to $80,000 in
damage from Ivan & Dennis in the last year and minor
damage from Katrina.  The insurance deductibles ate up
the EFI conversion and paint job/interior redo that I
had planned for this year.
