No, I'm not advocating doing it like I did particularly.  I did not ask
the list so did not have the benefit of the excellent recommendation for
using a tarp.  By all means, get a $10 tarp from Wal-Mart or something.
That's really a no-brainer.  I was just saying I used the liner and
adhesive from Rusty and it worked out great.  My old liner was really
just falling off in one piece.  I only had to get the gunk off the
inside of the hood before reapplying the adhesive so I didn't have as
much to do as Matt, Dick, Jonathan.

Seriously get a reasonable tarp/cover to lay over the engine
bay and guards.

If your existing liner is like mine was then it will crumble
and fall apart as you try and remove it and it will make a
big mess.
