[W126 Coupe] skid plate

What kinds of tools are required to install this thing? I don't suppose it would fit in my trunk would it? This is the kind of thing I would have to do while down at school since there is no way my dad would approve, and I wonder if I could do it with the tools I keep in my car and I wonder if I could pick it up at Beck Imports with the car, take it to school and install it rather than buying it at my the dealer near my house, using the family SUV to pick it up, and installing it in the garage where I have all the tools I need.
I also wonder what kind of adverse effects this would have on heat dissipation and if it would have any benefits on aerodynamics.

Hey there Richard,
The skid plate lists for 140.  The part number is 126 520 0442.  It's a heavy thing..I have one I still need to install on my white coupe..jacks car came w/ one.  I would get the hardware from Mercedes as it just simplifies things.

If you're dealer is being un-cooperative let me know.
