[W126 Coupe] Burning smell and rough idling

depends on the buring smell.  Different fluids smell
differently.  It could be as simple as a leak of
something i.e. coolant, oil, hydraulic fluid, tranny
fluid, that is getting on something hot.  Try cleaning
the engine, engine bay, and undercarriage and see if
it is still there.
