[W126 Coupe] which snow tire ?

I'm getting a set of Bridgestone Blizzak REVO1 in 195/65R15 for my SEC.

 

They are going to be mounted on a set of old (but repainted) 6.5x15 MB
15-hole rims.

 

I prefer narrower tires for winter and snow.

 

I agree that the Nokian Hakkapellita are great snow tires, but I'm going to
give the new generation of studless snow tires a try.

First where do you live?  IMO Nokian Hakkapellita is the best snow that I
have found.  I had a few sets, when I drove my 1984 300SD in the winter, now
my sister runs a set in the winter on her Subaru.  She lives in Stowe VT and
works in Burlington VT.  She got stuck once and it took two 4x4 tow trucks
to get her out cause the first one got stuck.  They are not just good in the
snow the have really good dry weather performance, which most snow lack,
badly.  But again it is my opion.  Good luck. Oh here is a link.

At Ti re Rack the Dunlop Graspic DS-2  has a price per tire $20 - 40 per
tire cheaper than the other recommendations so ma favoring that model. I'd
appreciate the groups thoughts/alternatives.etc
