I would highly recommend "Hessen Auto" in Des Plaines, Illinois, just
north of O'Hare airport...
They know and appreciate Mercedes very well and are very reasonably
priced. They have done work on my 88' 560 SEC and I was very pleased.

Deter is the owner and veteran MB mechanic with 20 years practice in
Stuttgart.

Can anyone recommend a GOOD repair shop in the Chicago
area?  Preferred locale would be the west or north
suburbs, but my main objective is to find a shop whose
mechanics know what they're doing and will perform the
work for a reasonable price.  Mark
