Hi Malcolm,
I thought the $1400 shipped price was quite reasonable as well. Everyone wanted more or was an unrealiable supplier. Price may have gone up a little as this was summer last year. Everyone else would have gone up as well. Unless I get real lucky, I might be buying another unit. A used unit from Jonathan might work as well also.
Hi Calvin,
Sort of 'tuned in' at the last minute here, but the $1400/1 year
warranty delivered sounds like a really good 2005 deal to me here in greater
Boston.
5+ years ago I had an 'exchange' ZF auto trans installed in my 200K+
mile '86 740 Volvo sedan. Exchange is the term for 'Remanufactured' that
Volvo has used for years...
Anyway, the price of admission was, after a discounted price of $1900.
plus the installation labor. Oh, it was an expensive Volvo year, that!
Drove that car today, (333,000 miles so far) and intend to have it take
the SALT bullet for my 560 again this Winter. :o)
Cheers, Malcolm Lee
Sincerely,
Calvin A.Young
