[W126 Coupe] Transmission Gone

Hi Calvin,

Sort of 'tuned in' at the last minute here, but the $1400/1 year warranty delivered sounds like a really good 2005 deal to me here in greater Boston.

5+ years ago I had an 'exchange' ZF auto trans installed in my 200K+ mile '86 740 Volvo sedan. Exchange is the term for 'Remanufactured' that Volvo has used for years...

Anyway, the price of admission was, after a discounted price of $1900. plus the installation labor. Oh, it was an expensive Volvo year, that!

Drove that car today, (333,000 miles so far) and intend to have it take the SALT bullet for my 560 again this Winter. :o)
