[W126 Coupe] hydraulic leveling fluid level

On my '91 there is a dipstick in the top of the canister. It is like a
rubber cap and you have to tug a little to get it out. I have seen negative
remarks on this forum about using ATF. Mercedes charges $27. per liter at
the dealer and I see Performance Products has it for about $12.
