Ask if he'll arrange shipping - if not then tell him that you will arrange a 
courier to collect at zero cost to him.

He/she should have no problem with the latter.

But shipping cost will be awful for that piece to the USA - the thing weighs 
next to nothing, but couriers calculate shipping costs based on volume. The 
length of the spoiler will cause the weight to be ten times more than it is 
in reality....and hence cost will be silly.

Couriers within Europe tend to be fine.....it's when it's shipping to a 
different zone that prices rocket. Shipping cost for the spoiler to US will 
likely be 2x what the spoilers worth....
