RE: pad seating on the slides.  The corners where they meet the caliper slide are beveled on the Pagid right out of the box.  I also use a file to clean up the slides and apply (Pagid advises against this) anti-seize to the slides where the pads seat in the corners.

RE: Richard's bavauto.com link, that's 2 ounces at 5.95 vs. 4 ounces at 9.95 directly from noisefree.com the manufacturer.
