[W126 Coupe] speakers

Good call. For now I'll use the stock wiring since IIRC the stock
speakers are 2 ohms and when I change the speakers I'll wire them
straight to the head unit since the head unit is for 4 ohms.

Richard, no matter what amps you use you better make
sure your impedence matches. If your stock amps are 4
ohms and your speakers are 8 ohms, you won't have
matching impedence and your sound won't be good. I am
sure Dick or somebody else more well versed in
Electrical Engineering can explain it better.
