Subject: [W126 Coupe] how difficult can it be to change a tire...done!.. and on to the next problem..

If the shocks are not working properly, that means the tires are doing 
more "work" of absorbing shocks, wearing them down more quickly.. Still, 
shouldn't I be able to feel a difference? What am I looking at in cost 
to get these replaced (parts/labor?).

I love the car but it's sucking me dry. I'm working on a consulting 
basis and I wonder how much longer I can afford this car.  :(
