ASK YOUR INSURANCE Company to replace the Car then when they discover the real value re-negotiate? and/or do you have this coverage?

  Hey All,



  I ended up in a snowstorm on Wednesday and lost control of the SEC. I just got a settlement figure from the insurance company and the salvage value of the car is $2400 if I keep it. I've got a severely damaged rear end but the car is still driveable. The front end is good, engine, tranny and glass are all intact. What should I do? Keep it and part it or take the salvage amount? Who need parts? The engine has 146800 on it and except for a small rough idle just passed smog with flying colors! Interior is good. Climate, cruise control etc all works.
