In any case, I have YET to see ANYONE'S "inflation rate" that goes up as 
quickly as my cost of living! During my adult life postage has increased 
more than 12-fold, hamburger has gone from 3 pounds/dollar to more like 
$3/pound. In four years my real estate tax doubled. Gasoline has 
increased nearly ten-fold.

It's all a scam, folks. Don't use the government figures for anything 
serious.
