The worst part of having a tire store over-torque lug bolts (they, of all people, should know better...) is that it can ruin some wheels, and IT CAN WARP YOUR ROTORS! Always torque lug bolts with a torque wrench to specs (or any nut or bolt for that matter), there's less chance of screwing up things if you follow a few basic rules of mechanics.
