Hi Tracy:

The sill plates are simply pressed in place with clips engaging a steel lip.
Start at the inside front of the sill and pry up a bit working your way down
the length of the sill from front to back.  Should pop right up after a few
clips are loosened.  I've done the carpet replacement as well.  It's a bit
of work when you get to removing the old and gluing the new on the knee
bolsters, door panels, transmission area etc.  Just take your time.
